What does the planet require of you today?

So what is this sites purpose? Well over the past couple of years I have built and lived in a "renewable energy" off the grid home in New Zealand. After completing this project (assuming building a house is ever complete!) visitors to our place always comment on the fact that it seems just like a normal house!

And yes it is! We have all the normal appliances, big fridge, essential coffee grinder and expresso maker, internet access, computers etc. All without a power bill! Well, we did have a power bill, kind of prepaid, the cost of installation!

We also installed the first domestic Biolytix worm farm for processing sewage! Pretty cool really, bit hard to get excited about sewage eh? But one the targets for our property was to be as self sustainable as possible, without sacrificing todays "normal" luxuries.

So this site is about assisting others in sharing ideas, products, solutions on how we can create Generative Lives for ourselves... not sustainable... I'll come to that in blog very shortly!
